Zoho Partner's can't access your data

A question we get asked regularly by Zoho customers is if we have access to their data? There are only two ways a Zoho Partner can access your data and both of them the Zoho customer is in control. For us, as a Zoho Partner, to access your Zoho system we need a User Name and Password provided to us by the Super User or Administrator of the Zoho application. This can either be by creating us as a User, which has a cost implication, or by password sharing. If you do password share we suggest not your normal password and to change it after we have finished the work. You can read how to change your Zoho Password here.

Confidentiality

If you choose to share access to your Zoho app with us, we would advise that we sign a NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) or a Confidentiality Agreement - both are basically the same. If your company doesn't have a standard template for these, we can send one over to you.

What about Partner Tagging?

Zoho have a process whereby a customer can tag a Zoho Partner. This identifies to Zoho that we are engaged with you and discussing your Zoho applications. It does not give us access to your data - again to reiterate the point, you have to give us access to your system for us to have access to your data.
