Based on valuable user feedback, these improvements focus on enhancing usability, maximising screen space, and simplifying navigation, ensuring that the features you need are always just one click away.
Key Enhancements to the NextGen UI
We've highlighted the most impactful changes that make the new interface cleaner and more intuitive:
- Unified Sidebar Navigation: The former dual-sidebar layout has been replaced with a single, streamlined sidebar. This change instantly frees up screen real estate and makes switching between modules faster and easier. Modules and folders are now conveniently displayed in a single, scrollable list.
- Prominent Global Search and Quick Creation: The search functionality is now highly visible, positioned at the top of the CRM screen for account-wide record searching. Similarly, all quick creation actions have been consolidated under a single '+' icon, making it effortless to create new records, modules, or team spaces from any screen.
- Setup Relocated and Centralised: The 'Setup' menu is now logically placed in the top-right corner and opens to a comprehensive Setup Homepage. This new layout organises all configuration options into clear categories, providing users with a holistic view and reducing the steps needed to manage settings.
- Single-Click Access to Reports and Dashboards: Accessing your critical data is faster than ever. Reports and Dashboards are now available via a drop-down menu, eliminating the need for multiple clicks to navigate between different data views and other modules.
- Cohesive Filter and View Options: Customization tools like Filter, Sort, and Record View options are now grouped together on the action bar just below the Module name. This creates a more consistent user experience and ensures these essential tools are quick to access.
- Retained Flexibility: The option to Hide/Show the Sidebar remains available, giving you control over maximising your screen view when focusing on data.
- Relocated Teamspace Switcher: For quicker access, the Teamspace switcher has been moved to a more central location. The new More (...) option nearby also provides a central hub for managing teamspaces, creating folders, and associating modules.
